MPX Equalizer is distributed through the Apple App Store and, unless a custom EULA is explicitly configured, is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

How MPX handles privacy
MPX Equalizer is designed around personal music libraries and private listening. This policy explains the current verified privacy model of the app and website.
What MPX does not do
- MPX does not collect user data
- MPX contains no ads
- MPX contains no analytics
- MPX does not use behavioral tracking
- MPX does not collect listening history
- MPX does not include third-party tracking libraries
- MPX does not require an MPX account
- MPX does not require an MPX-owned cloud
Why MPX may ask for access
- Apple Music library access may be requested so MPX can read eligible downloaded, non-DRM device-library tracks.
- Files or document-picker access may be requested so you can import files, folders, and storage exposed through Apple Files.
- Network access may be used when you configure personal music servers such as Jellyfin, Navidrome, Airsonic, or compatible Subsonic servers.
What may stay on your device
To make app features work, MPX may store functionality data locally on your device. This local device storage is not the same as collecting or transmitting user data to MPX.
- Library state
- Playlists
- Queue and playback state
- EQ settings and presets
- Metadata and artwork presentation changes inside MPX
- Music-server connection settings you choose to configure
How MPX treats your information
- MPX does not sell user data
- MPX does not share user data for advertising
- MPX does not use data for cross-app tracking
Services you choose remain separate from MPX
You may choose to interact with services outside MPX, including Apple Music library and device media access, Apple Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, NAS or network locations, Jellyfin, Navidrome, Airsonic, compatible Subsonic servers, and Apple or App Store purchase infrastructure.
Those services have their own privacy practices and are outside MPX's control. MPX does not receive user data from them merely because you choose to connect or import from them.
A general music player, not a child-targeted service
MPX is a general music player. It is not built around ads, behavioral profiling, or account-based social features.
Security
MPX stores app data locally on your device when needed for features such as playlists, playback state, EQ settings, and server configuration. MPX does not operate servers that collect your listening or usage data. No software or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should also protect access to your device and any third-party services you connect to MPX.
